Creative tools, serious DSP.
HARMONICO dsp is an independent plugin maker based in Paris, run by a working sound engineer.
The plugins are creative and experimental, with a serious DSP core. Because they come from someone mixing on them daily, they are built to hold up in real sessions — not just to look good in a demo.
Each one starts from an idea worth building a processor around. Often that idea is a real physical phenomenon — hysteresis, flocking, threshold dynamics — but not always; sometimes it is simply a sound we wanted and couldn't find elsewhere.
When a plugin is built on a mechanism, its name says so. Cherenkov describes the threshold behaviour of the compressor; Murmuration, the swarm that drives its reverb. The rest is careful engineering.
The interfaces display the underlying process rather than emulating analog hardware: a spectrum, a reactor core, a particle swarm, and the controls each model exposes.
Independent. Available as VST3, AU and AAX, for macOS and Windows.
